The Vashon Island Strawberry festival is one of the largest events on Vashon Island. The Strawberry Festival has been going on for over 50 years. Folks from all around the sound, heck the WORLD come to our little festival on Vashon. With humble beginnings, it has blossomed into a huge celebration of life and community. With a large number of breweries, wineries, and cideries there is never a shortage of things to drink. Strawberry Festival Attractions
Live Music: We have multiple stages throughout the festival with various bands performing wide variety of music.
Parade: The Grand Parade strolls through downtown Vashon Island and is great for kids. In fact, there is a kiddy parade that starts the Grand Parade.
Street Vendors: We have over 100 booths with various street vendors. Food, arts, crafts, services and tons of unique items to take home.
Beer Gardens: There are a number of beer gardens at the Strawberry Festival. Here are some of our favorites.
Street Dance: Saturday night (and sometimes Friday night) there are street dances where you can dance in the streets of Vashon Island until the wee hours of the morning.
Classic Car Parade: We have some great auto enthusiasts that come to Vashon to show off their rides. After the parade, they park so you can see the cars up close and person.
Pancake Breakfast: Early on Saturday and Sunday we have a pancake breakfast with all you can eat pancakes, sausage, orange juice and Coffee. It is a great way to cure that festival hangover, trust me.
